Dr Jack Dubin is the founder and principle
dentist at Dental Care-Westgate since 1979.
He was born and raised in Philadelphia where
he attended University of Pennsylvania Dental School. After
traveling and working on the staffs of three dental schools
in the Midwest and East, the Dubins decided that the California
sunshine was the place to raise their children. After many healthy
and happy years here in our San Jose (Westgate Mall) location
Dr. Dubin is still here to help to provide patients preserve
their smiles.
To keep up on all the latest technologies
of the dental world, Dr Dubin periodically take C.E (continuing
education) courses to update on new products and procedures.
After many years in the Dental profession Dr. Dubin strongly
believes in Prevention of disease, to catch all problems before
pain occurs and costly repairs are needed.
Frisa has over 9 years experience with
working in the dental field as a registered dental assistant.
For the past 3 years, she has spent most of her time in the
administrative end of the field.
Frisa has been with Dental Care Westgate for over two years,
working to construct accurate estimates and accommodating payment
arrangements to help our patients get the care they need as
soon as possible. She continues to assist patients with any
office related questions regarding treatment, billing, scheduling
an appointment and your overall dental well-being.
Lauri has been assisting dentists for over
20 years and became a registered with the state of California
in 2004.
For the past 10 years, Lauri has been assisting
Dr. Jack Dubin, helping to give each of our patients the individual
attention and care that the Dental Care Westgate staff members
believe our patients deserve. Lauri is always able to answer
questions regarding all dental procedures that will pertain
to an individual's treatment. Like the rest of the staff,
Lauri does her best to help patients improve and maintain
their dental health.
In her spare time, Lauri enjoys playing tennis, painting and
bike riding. She also speaks Viet (and English) and helps
to take care of our Viet and English speaking patient needs.
Ione completed dental hygiene training at
Foothill College here in the South Bay about 20 years ago,
and has been with Dental Care Westgate for over 10.
She helps to provide a comfortable experience by performing
dental cleanings and deep gum therapy procedures in a gentle,
yet thorough manner.
Ione is also a great communicator, and is always willing to instruct
patients on the best ways to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
But to keep your mouth in the best shape possible, you'll want to
see Ione once every six months (the recommended
frequency of dental check-ups and cleanings). An invaluable
addition to the Dental Care Westgate staff she looks forward
to meeting our hundreds of returning and new patients.
When she's not working Ione enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and
spending time with her teenage children.
